The Bridgeport women's basketball team overcame a 17-point second-half deficit, but ended up falling to NYIT 82-74 in an East Coast Conference matchup Monday. The Purple Knights trailed 48-31 with 17:39 remaining in the game and later were down 61-48 with 9:59 left before going on a 16-1 run to take a 64-62 lead.
