New HCC president named

An official working in the State University of New York system has been named the new president of Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport. Paul Broadie II , currently vice president for student services at SUNY Orange County Community College in Middletown, New York, will officially take over the helm at Housatonic on April 3. He will succeed Elizabeth Roop , who has been serving as the school's interim president since June.
