More than 2,000 bikes in fact, with about 2,400 riders and passengers in all, rode from Norwalk to Bridgeport in the 14th annual CT United Ride, paying tribute to the first responders who died in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. The 60-mile ride began at 11 a.m. in Norden Park in Norwalk, and the route took riders through the back roads of Wilton, Redding, Bethel, Newtown Trumbull and Fairfield before arriving at Seaside Park in Bridgeport at 1:30 p.m. It took the line of motorcycles about a half-hour to rumble under the Perry Arch, the park's majestic entrance.
