Woman charged with trying to cash $4K fake check

Leighann N. Fogarty , 24, of Laurel Avenue, Bridgeport, tried to cash a fraudulent $4,000 check at the People's United Bank branch at Super Stop & Shop , 760 Villa Ave., last week, police said.
