Making the tracks safer

Metro-North Railroad has hired a Colorado company to review track inspection, maintenance procedures and other measures in order to boost safety after last month's train derailment and collision in Bridgeport, which injured more than 70 people, and another accident less than two weeks later that killed a track foreman.
