State Bond Panel To Vote On Church Street Garage Purchase

The State Bond Commission is set to vote next week on whether to approve the city's sale of the Church Street parking garage to the Capital Region Development Authority, a deal that Hartford officials are relying on to balance their 2014-15 budget. The state would pay $14.4 million for the garage and $1.6 million for repairs and improvements to the 1,300-space facility.
