Judge Releases College Soccer Player Accused Of Rape

A Connecticut judge has allowed a University of Bridgeport soccer player accused of rape to go free after dropping his $50,000 bail to a promise to appear in court. The Connecticut Post reports that Bridgeport Superior Court Judge Robin Pavia eliminated bail for 18-year-old Luis Campozano of the Bronx, New York, on Friday, despite objections by prosecutors.
