Eight people were left homeless Thursday after a fire tore through the upper part of a three-family home Thursday. Firefighters responding to 1776-77 Noble Ave. just after 7 p.m. discovered a fire that started on the second-floor porch quickly spread up the side of the house and through the attic and roof, officials said.
