Hartford Fire Injures Man, Ruins Building, Mars Morning Commute

Firefighters early Thursday rescued a man from a burning building that was supposed to be vacant, a fire official said. The man was pulled out of a second-story window of 1363 Main St. and transported to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center , Deputy Fire Chief David Serpliss said.
