Finch blurs line between mayor, candidate

A 6-inch by 7-inch portrait of Mayor Bill Finch , printed on glossy paper, the phrase "Leading Bridgeport to a Better Future" above his smiling mug on the front, a list of the his accomplishments on the back. It was part of a taxpayer-subsidized packet handed out to dozens of business leaders and potential campaign donors during the mayor's state-of-the-city address in February.
