Rabinowitz staying in Bridgeport

Rabinowitz dropped out of contention for the job Monday, moments after Bridgeport's Board of Education voted 7-2 to offer a one-year extension to her contract, which will now stretch to June 30, 2017. "I want to stay here and do the work here," Rabinowitz said, after calling Gov. Dannel P. Malloy from the hallway at Tisdale School to tell him of the decision.
