Wolf Pack outlast Sound Tigers

This is one of those head-scratcher nights, a weird game that appears over umpteen times before Hartford finally salts away a Bridgeport Sound Tigers hockey game that looks more like a lacrosse score. The Wolf Pack nearly blew a three-goal lead in the third, but an empty-netter secured their 8-6 win over the Sound Tigers on Friday at XL Center in the first game back from the all-star break.
