Simsbury Urges Residents To Shelter In Place During Blizzard

"Emergency personnel are in place and town staff are prepared to respond to what is expected to be a significant snowfall," First Selectman Lisa Heavner said in a press release. The town implemented a parking ban on town streets beginning at 2 p.m. on Monday until further notice to ensure that town snow plows are able to prepare roads and remove snow, according to Tom Cooke, director of administrative services.
