Police: Felon tests cops with gun in Stamford

Stamford police say a Bridgeport felon may have been trying to commit suicide by cop Thursday night after being surprised by police in a Cove neighborhood parking lot while in possession of a loaded semiautomatic pistol. When officers confronted the man with their service weapons and rifles drawn, Michael "Angel" Walsh , 37, of Evergreen Terrace in Bridgeport, defied police orders to get out of his car and instead sat fingering the pistol.
