Opposition from gun enthusiasts was muffled and muzzled Friday when the House and Senate voted overwhelmingly to confirm former Bridgeport representative Auden Grogins to a Superior Court judgeship. Her nomination sailed through the House 125-18, after a brief debate with no verbal opposition in the chamber where she served six years.
