Bridgeport Man Arrested After Giving False Name To Fairfield Police

Fairfield police arrested a 47-year-old Bridgeport man on charges of providing a false name during a robbery investigation at Stop & Shop. Richard Byron, of Shell Street, was stopped by police Tuesday outside 170 Post Road as a possible suspect in a robbery at Super Stop & Shop on Kings Highway Cutoff, police said.
