Union beats Sacred Heart in tournament consolation

Daniel Ciampini split the defense and scored the tie-breaking goal as Union defeated Sacred Heart 3-1 in the consolation game of the Frozen Holiday Classic at Bridgeport, Conn. Ryan Scarfo scored in the first period for the Skating Dutchmen , and, after missing a penalty shot in the third, added an empty-net goal.
