New Manchester Assistant Fire Chief Named

Daniel French, 52, served for 26 years with the Waterbury Fire Department, working his way up to acting deputy chief, Manchester Fire Chief David Billings said Monday. "Dan has demonstrated his ability in Waterbury to manage daily operations in a 260-person fire department that responds to over 18,000 calls annually," Billings said.
