Malloy picks Bridgeport senator to run DMV

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is tapping a Bridgeport state senator as his new commissioner of Connecticut's Department of Motor Vehicles. Malloy announced Monday he has chosen fellow Democrat Andres Ayala to succeed the current commissioner, Melody Currey.
