Kenneth Mathews, 29, of Bridgeport, was arrested on a warrant for larceny.

Kenneth Mathews , 29, of Ellsworth Street in Bridgeport, was charged on a warrant Tuesday with the theft of more than $30,000 worth of clothing and jewelry from a Cobblers Mill Road home where he was house-sitting in August. The homeowner called police in August to report the possessions were missing from the home after Mathews had been the house sitter there from Aug. 11-22.
