At 11:11 a.m. Oct. 21, New York State Troopers from the East Fishkill and Brewster barracks responded to a two-car serious personal-injury auto accident on Interstate 84, east of the Interstate 684 interchange. Initial investigation indicated that Marie D. Rene, 35, from Bridgeport, CT., was traveling on the ramp from Interstate 684 northbound to Interstate 84 eastbound when she lost control of her 2006 Hyundai Sante Fe sport-utility vehicle near the end of the ramp.
