Pleasure Beach in Bridgeport reopens for the first time since 1996

The beach has been closed since 1996, when a fire destroyed the bridge connecting the beach to the mainland. In addition to the new bridge, the city will also offer free water taxi service from Seaview Avenue. Coolers are permitted at the beach, but alcohol is not allowed.
