If someone asked you to guess which city in the United States suffers from the heaviest tax burden, what would you say? As it turns out, the most heavily taxed city in the U.S. is Bridgeport, Conn., followed closely by Milwaukee and Philadelphia, according to an annual report from the chief financial officer of the District of Columbia.
