School reformer running for Illinois lieutenant governor

Just days after voters in Bridgeport, Conn., elected a school board seen as being more likely to fire Paul Vallas as superintendent than to embrace him, it was announced that the well-known school reformer will run for lieutenant governor in Illinois.
