This year's winner of the national Jenny Lind singing competition is Glastonbury's Kathryn Bowden, a soprano chosen who will perform at the Barnum Festival in Bridgeport on Thursday, June 28. Every year sopranos from the U.S. and Sweden are chosen from the Jenny Lind competiton to perform in the Jenny Lind Concert, part of the Bridgeport festival.
