Sound Tigers beat Whale in OT

John Persson's power play goal midway through the third period tied the game at four, and Greenwich native Sean Backman backhanded a rebound past Whale goaltender Cam Talbot 1:57 into overtime to give the Bridgeport Sound Tigers a 5-4 come-from-behind win over the Connecticut Whale at XL Center on Friday night.
