Bridgeport bank is held up

The Bank of America branch at Barnum Avenue and Maple Street was held up Friday afternoon by a man who passed the teller a note, police said. No weapon was shown and the suspect, a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, fled on foot. Police are still on the scene.
