Two Bridgeport women were arrested Tuesday morning after police said they tried to shoplift $430 worth of groceries from Super Stop & Shop, 760 Villa Ave. Jennifer Rodriguez, 22, of Pequonnock Street, and Wanda Verret, 34, of North Avenue, were both charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
